There are a selection of photos of events from one of the years. The students try to guess what news story each photo is referring to. Then they read the review of the stories before trying to guess the year. There are ten of these in total to represent each of the years from the decade. Exercises on past simple regular and irregular, superlatives, connecting words, synonyms, antonyms, was/were and many more. The first part finishes with 20 conversation questions to encourage a group discussion about the 2010's. Part 2 starts with a look into the events coming up in 2020 with topics including politics, technology, sport and film. They include future exercises and language. The second part concludes with ten conversation questions about the year ahead.
