This is a really useful resource for helping students with their GCSE photo descriptions. I print and laminate them for my students and it has really helped them to improve their speaking skills. It is to reinforce the PALMS idea for describing a photo:
P - who is in the photo?
A - What are they doing?
L - Where are they?
M - What is their mood like?
S - What is the weather like
There is also a section on what they are wearing to really help students to get talking, as well as some introduction vocab such as “in the background”
On the other side there is the AQA mark scheme & top tips - if you are doing Edexcel this could be easily edited with the other mark scheme.
