UAL Level 2 Music – Introduction to Music Performance

An introductory session that lays out several activities and potential workshops to introduce students of this level to being a music performer including analysis of what makes an effective performance, how to for relationships with and engage the audience, forming groups and planning for practical ‘experimentation’ musical rehearsal and planning for future sessions. Worksheet included which can be used as either prompt or method for collecting evidence. Fully spec’d covering most aspects of assessment criteria 1.1 and 1.2 or can be adapted and used as a single session or day/week long project in a Music Techniques/Ensemble Studies/Solo Music Performance type unit/setting.
