This is an open ended worksheet to practice the conjugations and sentences with i-y spelling change verbs in the preterit (-uir verbs included)
Students will be given a list of 11 infinitives and they will choose any 6 and then conjugate the infinitive for all 6 persons and write an 8 word minimum sentence. A list of clue words (ayer etc) is also included for students to use in their sentences
Verbs included: leer, caer, oir, creer, poseer, proveer / destruir, contribuir, influir, concluir, construir
