In this pack you will find all of the planning and active inspire flip charts that you will need to teach these writing lessons.
This includes planning and flipcharts for a one off lesson on capacity. It is fantastic to use for an interview or for an observation, this lesson encourages the children to investigate capacity independently and is a great problem solving activity. It is very good for showing the use of questioning in your lesson. I used this lesson for an interview and I got the job! The lesson is based on a magic potion made by Winnie the Witch.
Flowers with the sounds ch, sh, th, air and earin the centre of them and words on petals to match. I laminated them and cut them out and the children had to match the petal with the flower.
Mini beasts with high frequency words on them. I laminated them and cut them out and hung them from the ceiling in my reading area with green paper which looked like trees.
A leaflet which explains how the phonics screening process works and gives parents advice on how they can support their children. Part of the leaflet is specific to Read Write Inc, however this section can be just changed to include information to fit with how you teach phonics at your school.
