This resource is an exemplar personal statement for a leadership role for which I was successful in securing an interview and a post. The exemplar provides many examples of my personal achievements in teaching but it should be fairly easy to adapt this and personalise it to any job applicant.
This resource is comprised of two items:
1) Personal statement for job application to a faith school
2) A cover letter/personal statement for job application to a community primary school
These letters have been tried and tested and have secured interviews for the author on a number of occasions. These exemplars are intended as a guide only and it is advised that job seekers adapt the information contained within the documents to reflect their skills/abilities/experience.
This class assembly pack is ideal for KS2 students studying The Vikings. It will definitely enthuse learners and any audience through its use of story, theatre and pop culture references to impart historical information about Viking warfare and weaponry, gods and goddesses and about their invasion and settlement of the British Isles.
The assembly pack includes:
1) Full script (30 speaking parts, cast list, props list and stage directions)
2) Karaoke style video for the finale song
3) Multiple SFX files
4) PowerPoint to accompany the drama and onstage action
5) Guidance notes
Parents and children all said that this was "the best class assembly ever" when I did this with my Year 5 class earlier this year.
This presentation was designed by a practising subject leader and has been effective during staff INSET. It is ideal for older/newer design and technology subject leaders looking to impart knowledge and give direction to teaching colleagues with regards to D&T provision. This high quality resource can be easily adapted and will really help D&T subject leaders to promote good practice in D&T teaching across key stages 1 and 2.
Attractive, child friendly fluency and reasoning and problem solving activities for Year 3 learning numbers to 1,000.

These resources could be used as part of a sequence of lessons with these activities ideally being part of the second lesson once children are secure in their understanding of hundreds.
