6-8 lesson scheme of work on an introduction to classical music. Suitable for KS2 or KS3. Focuses on the eras of music, keyboard and singing skills, and listening comprehension. Inspirations has been taken from some of the ABRSM classroom 200 resources but they have been linked in a coherent way and using my own resources. HIghly recommend the clasroom 200 as a resource! Includes audio clips, notation worksheets (do check the ABRSM ones though as some notes are wrong! I’ve tried to correct them as best as I can) and lesson slides. Youtube links also included.

Practice diary for use with any peripatetic instrumental or classroom lessons. includes section to identify student and goals, teacher practice abbreviations, monthly practice charts/planner, and lesson by lesson logs.

Set of printable cards. Each has a scale such as D major, A minor pentatonic, Blues in G etc on them. Also on them is a variety of ways to play them such as staccato, legato, dotted etc. The idea is that students pick cards at random and roll a dice (IRL or virtually) to discover the way they need to practice the scale. A fun way to warm up or learn about a variety of musical scales.
