A fully-resourced PSHE lesson all about the risks of getting into debt such as with payday loans, why so many people are using them and the detrimental effect they can have on people’s lives. The lesson investigates whether and how payday loan companies target the vulnerable and exactly how APR can mount up to be unmanageable in a short amount of time.

Revision Success: A selection of highly-rated lessons and tools to help students succeed in exams, revise effectively, be prepared, well-organised and confident. These resources focus on the best way to revise, the different revision styles - what has been proven to work vs what doesn't, managing your time, building up your confidence and memory to succeed in exams and setting yourself personal goals and smart targets for revision, exam success and more. Each one lasts an hour and could be used in three 20 min tutor time sessions a week for a Study Skills focus.
It also focuses on how you can use the power of the mind to achieve success through self discipline and having a 'can-do' growth mindset. There is also a lesson on stress management and developing self discipline for any situation, including sticking to revision timetables!
These are designed to be used in form time but could be used in parts of any lesson.

A lesson to raise awareness and encourage reporting of the harmful and dangerous practice of FGM. Also includes information on breast ironing. All the information you need about this topic is provided, no additional prep is required (everything is also editable).

Accidents and emergencies KS1 PSHE lesson.
A one-hour long, very detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for KS1. This lesson has been created for Year 2, however, the activities may also be suitable for younger KS2 children (Year 3).
In this lesson, the students will learn how to respond to an emergency. We will discuss how to determine if it is appropriate to call the emergency services. Photoshopped, Airbrushed and Faked Online Images PSHE Lesson. A one hour-long, very detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for KS2. In this lesson, the students will discuss the different ways that images can be digitally manipulated online. We will learn about deepfake artificial intelligence software and the dangers it poses with regard to the spread of fake news and misinformation. We will take a detailed look at common photo editing techniques including the use of facial filters in applications like Facetune. We will carry out a ‘spot the difference’ activity, to highlight some of the subtle image changes that often go unnoticed. The students will also critically analyse a set of images, where they will look for clues of image manipulation and theorize scenarios where photo editing techniques can become immoral or harmful.
The lesson includes an information sheet, a video clip task, a spot-the-difference activity, an image analysis actitivy and a debate plenary task.

This is me KS1 Year 1 Autumn 1 PSHE lesson.
Created with a view to being delivered in the first PSHE lesson of the year, this hour-long, fully resourced lesson is a perfect introduction to the KS1 PSHE curriculum.
