In this assembly, King Charles III presents British values and their importance to a less-than-interested student, Loudmouth Lewis, in an attempt to win him over. TWO HOURS - Stalking, harassment and the law PSHE lesson. A new 2024 lesson focusing on what stalking and harassment are, how they are legally defined, how we know if we are being stalked or harassed and what can legally be done about it. Students will investigate real life cases of stalking that have ended up with the perpetrators serving custodial sentences. They will analyse whether UK law is tough enough in these cases, or whether it needs re-evaluating. Students will explore the effects on the victims lives, how they have been impacted in the short and long-term and the different ways a person may be stalked or harassed - so students are able to recognise this. This lesson is created for KS4 although could also be used with Year 9. Signposting included and everyt Students will complete source analysis tasks, literacy and debate tasks, creative tasks, clip tasks and much more. This lesson is taken from the new EC Publishing Complete PSHE Package which can be found at the EC Publishing website. Everything is editable and easy to pick up and run with and includes future DfE updates too. This has been written to cover the 2020-24 PSHE guidance from the DfE and PSHE Association for RSE.
