Times Tables Tests A pack of times tables tests for the 6, 7, 8 and 9 times tables. Each test is 20 questions involving a mixture of multiplying, dividing and word problems based on that times table. There are two tests for each multiplication table, allowing students to retest and try to improve their score. Non-calculator. All answers are included. Can be used as worksheets, tests or homework. I use them as 5 minute tests at the start of a lesson using a timer, with pupils marking them straight away. Everyone gets at least a few of the easy ones right, so is suitable for mixed ability groups. The document is 17 pages in total. Mother’s Day Maths Letters - Cards – printable activity for Maths, English, Science and more This is a no prep Mother’s Day activity. Easy for you and fun for the children! These Mother’s Day letter templates can be easily printed out in black and white on plain A4 paper. Or print in colour if you wish. Children can complete the maths questions and colour in the flowers. All answers are included. This is a lovely way to showcase maths work and let the children show off to their mums what they have been doing in class. There are 9 different templates so that you can differentiate your lesson to suit the children. As well as maths letters, there are also templates for writing and a blank template so that you can use the Mother’s Day letter to showcase any work, like a science project, or a piece of writing or let the children draw a picture of their mum. The letters can be put into an envelope or they can be photocopied A5 size so that they can be glued into a Mother’s Day card. The maths in the letters is suitable for primary school age and the blank templates are suitable for any age, pre-schoolers can draw pictures and older children can write.
