Engaging and creative revision materials for GCSE Edexcel Citizenship.
Resource 1 is a League Revision sheet whereby students can play alone or in pairs. Students are challenged to answer each question in each division (Theme A, theme B and Theme C) once they are unable to they stop and record their score for that division. In this two-part series students are encouraged to explore and debate the events leading up to the Holocaust by attempting to gain an insight into Hitler’s ideology and the effects of his propoganda on public attitude. Students work in pairs and groups to suggest coping strategies and to reflect on how effective they are to avoid chronic stress and mental health issues from occurring. Students’ understanding is applied through a problem scenario task, which can be used by teaches to formally assess their progress.
