These medium and large wall sized number lines can be printed out and displayed on the wall in your classroom. The medium sized number line gos from -30 to 30. The large sized number lines goes from -20 to 20. Pages will need to be cut and organized to make the number line. Included are small desk sets from -10 to 10 that can be taped onto students desks.
This self-assessment is designed for students new to English. It allows them to think about six general math concepts and rate how they feel about each concept.
This will help ELL and mathematics teachers get an idea of where newcomer students view their strengths and weaknesses are in mathematics.
This printout of a multiplication table includes a large full page (8.5 in x 11 in) multiplication table that will be easy for children to use.
There is also a page with 4 smaller copies on one page, which can be used as a master copy to make small sets which can be cut out taped onto tables or inside of math journals.
The large copy can also be enlarged and made into a poster for you classroom wall. (This requires enlarging resources or the file needs to be taken to a copy center)
After cutting out the sets of cards students will organize the ratio cards into sets of equivalent ratios individually or in cooperative groups.
Each set (one set per page) includes 6 equivalent ratios. Use 2-6 sets depending on how advanced the students are functioning.
For students who need more support, the simplified ratio of each set has a diamond on the card. Inform students that the cards must be matched with one of the cards displaying a diamond.
6 sets of equivalent ratios are included.
This math activity can be done as a math center or facilitated by an educator during small group instruction.
Students will match two number cards that when multiplied equal the target number. Students pair all the cards in the set to complete the task. Students can be timed to compete for the fastest time on any given set.
Each page includes the target number and a set of factor cards that need to be cut out. The factors cards will need to be put in pairs by students so that when multiplied their product is the target number.
22 sets are provided which include the following target products: 4,8,12,15,16,18,20,21,24,27,28,30,32,36,40,42,45,48,56,60,64, and 90.
This resource includes 2 work mats for students to use who are struggling to alight numbers correctly when solving long division problems.
One has space for a divisor and 3 digit dividend.
The other has space for a divisor and 3 digit dividend with 2 decimal places.
Also included on the third page of the PDF are links to the work mats in Google Draw format so they can be used for distance learning.
When printed double sided, these sets of flash cards print out six to a page with the math expression (problem) on the front and the quotient (answer) on the back.
The set includes all combinations of division problems with divisors 0-12 that result in a whole number quotient.
