(3)
In this resource package has a 10 page bone names and health booklet, which can be printed off, back to back. If printing off is not an option for you, you may know someone who could help out with this or you could read from the screen and then write answers down on lined paper. There is then a skeleton building, cut-out-and-stick activity which could be printed and stuck on the back of some wall paper or a series of A4/A3 that have been stuck together with Sellotape. Alternatively, if you have blue tack, this could go directly on the wall, stuck to a glass of french doors or be laid flat on a floor with minimum disturbance. The human body is of interest to children and there is a follow on project about the internal organs of the human body. These can then be added to the skeleton model, building on their learning. Please leave a review so others know your thoughts and opinion, thanks I hope you have fun with this :-) Alison

BTEC Health and Social Care Unit 4 Enquiries into Current Research Recap and revision advice

(11)
With little guidance from the exam board, its difficult to know what to be advising students… however, this is my attempt… A recap for Learning Aim A & B, the purpose of student learning so far and the relevance of this with regards the Part A 4 pages and Part B exam. There is guidance as to what students could be revising and again, reiterating that a lot of the work we’re doing in lessons is to familiarise them with websites which contain data, in advance of their Part A Controlled Assessment. I have included an easier-to-read format for the exam board sample assessment material you could adapt and use with students so they get use to what they’re task article and exam questions might look like, matched against the marking criteria. In addition, there is an A3 Revision template for research methodologies for students to work on and have as part of planned revision.
