Counting Song Cards A set of counting song cards covering five counting songs. The songs are - Five Little Speckled Frogs Five Little Men in a Flying Saucer Five Little Ducks went Swimming One Day Five Currant Buns in a Baker’s Shop Ten Fat Sausages Sizzling in a Pan Each set of cards contains a picture scene for example a set of shelves or a spaceship and pictures to be cut out for example currant buns or aliens. Children add the correct number of objects to the scene then sing the song and take objects away. There is also a space for children to fill in the missing number or name. These cards can be laminated to use again. Aimed at Early Years and Key Stage 1 children Counting Song PowerPoints A set of counting song PowerPoints covering five counting songs. Introducing Money A complete Maths lesson for introducing money and coins. The lesson covers the different coins and their value using pennies. There is an activity for swapping coins for a single coin to demonstrate that different coins can be used to make up different amounts and shows children that we need to add the amounts together and not simply count the coins. The lesson includes three differentiated money worksheets and a short plenary. Money Activity Cards A set of money activity cards covering coins only. The cards are split into three sets - cards showing one dot work with coins up to 5p and values below 10p, cards showing two dots work with coins up to 10p and values below 20p and cards showing three dots work with coins up to 20p and values below 30p. There are four activities in each set - Activity 1 - what could I buy with …p activity Activity 2 - adding prices Activity 3 - how much money is in the purse? Activity 4 - can you put the correct amount of money in the purse? I laminate these cards for use in Maths lessons and children select the challenge that they would like to complete - one dot, two dots or three dots. Suitable for Early Years and Year 1 children.

These sheets focus solely on number bonds to 10. They also give children the opportunity to practise recording number sentences. I have used these as worksheets during Maths lessons plus have also laminated the different sheets for children to use during choosing time or early work. Making 10 Activity Cards A set of Maths activity task cards for making 10. The set includes 6 number bond activities for making 10 including using a bar model, part whole models, addition and word problems. These cards can be used as part of a number bond Maths lesson or could be used during choosing time for children to practise number bonds to 10. The activity cards also give children the opportunity to practise recording number sentences. These cards can be laminated so that they can be used again. Number Bonds - Making Ten PowerPoint A number bonds activity for making 10. This Maths activity can support children to learn and practise number bonds to make 10. The activity shows children all of the different number bonds for making ten. Each number bond has a word problem eg I have ten dogs, 5 of them are playing in the garden. How many dogs are in the kennel? Children can solve these problems using objects and pictorial representations and record their number sentence on their whiteboards. Activity could be used as a whole class activity or in small groups. Aimed at Early Years and Year 1 children however could also be used as a recap or as part of an intervention group for Year 2 children.

Two fun Maths activity PowerPoints to introduce children to 2D and 3D shapes. The PowerPoints include interactive activities for the children to join in with. The PowerPoints show different 2D or 3D shapes and describes their properties. Children then have to guess the shape that is being described or the shape that is being slowly revealed. There is also a shape spotting activity and an odd one out activities. My classes have enjoyed using these PowerPoints to learn about 2D and 3D shapes and they encourage lots of talk about shapes. The activities could be used as a whole class activity or in small intervention groups. Aimed at Early Years and Year 1 children however could be used as a recap or booster session for Year 2 children.
