Lesson used for an outstanding lesson observation. Used for KS3 but can be used for KS4. No powerpoint needed but need to make small quadrats… cut out and laminate they are 5cm x 5cm. Both worksheets need to be printed onto A3. The worksheet is a booklet using one page of A3. Quadrat sampling on daisies… Allows analysis of data, biodiversity and sampling.

The resource includes a completed and blank document. The blank one is given to the pupils to complete. It has information on the equipment, risk hazards, method, careers and links to curriculum. This resource hits Gatsby targets as well as extracurricular teaching standards 1 and 8. Pupils engage and use STEM skills. There are more experiments with similar resources on the TES Shop. This includes a booklet that has a yearly schedule with one practical per week.
