This is the sixth in a series of quiz challenges. It is a General Knowledge Quiz prepared for my two grand-daughters Emilia and Florence. They are 9 and 11 years old. It will be suitable for children between the age of 9 and 15 years. Free to all for use as a home study exercise. Try answering them without assistance for 3 points and then receive 1 point for finding the answers using the internet or other sources. I hope you have some family fun. Ask the children to study the answers after completing the quiz. This is when they find out about things they did not know. Have fun.

Ten amazing women who changed the world. THIS RESOURCE IS FREE FOR THREE MONTHS! I will transfer this resource to my charity resource category after this introductory period. After a year of aggression, dictatorship, war crimes, riots and other negatives, I felt driven to look for positives to contrast these horrendous activities. This resource looks back in history in order to select women who have made a significant influence on attitudes across the World. I have selected ten amazing women who for contrasting reasons have left a legacy of positivity. In spite of prejudice, bigotry and racism, my chosen, ten have shown courage and determination during their journey in life. The resource includes: Two power point presentations, the first asks the question who are these women? The second highlights in detail what they achieved. An optional commentary has been printed for your use. The minimum use of the resource would be two one hour lessons with limited commentary. Maximum use would be four to ten lessons focusing on each woman to identify how they differed and how they left their mark on society and the wider world. Peace and Love.
