A 16-slide PowerPoint presentation which starts with a Do Now activity covering German topics covered so far. It then recaps the rooms of the house as a test, and students are reminded of sentences with a quick comprehension activity. There is then a lot of new verb infinitives (“essen”, “lesen”, “arbeiten” etc.) and a reminder about putting them in the “ich”-form. After that comes a reminder of the Dative Case for saying “in the attic”, “in the living room”, “in the kitchen” etc. before asking students to translate some first person sentences, plus a listening exercise to consolidate. There is then some information on irregular verbs, and the “ich”, “du”, “er/sie/es” and “wir”-forms of “essen”, “sehen”, “lesen”, and “schlafen”.
