Inter Faith Week takes place in England, Northern Ireland and Wales each November. It is a programme of the Inter Faith Network for the UK. The aims of the Week are: i) Strengthening good inter faith relations at all levels; ii) Increasing awareness of the different and distinct faith communities in the UK, in particular celebrating and building on the contribution which their members make to their neighbourhoods and to wider society; and iii) Increasing understanding between people of religious and non-religious beliefs. Many schools mark the Week. It is an ideal opportunity to highlight understanding about and between different faiths and beliefs.
