This is a booklet for A level Skill Acquisition following the OCR 2016 specification. It can be used as a booklet for students to fill in as class notes or to be used as a revision tool. It includes coverage of classification of skills, types and methods of practice, transfer of skills, learning theories and stages of learning, guidance and feedback. There are some exam questions along the way as well as different tasks for students to complete.

Many people have previously bought my EAPI booklet designed to help students (and teachers) to create their Evaluation and Analysis of Performance for Improvement. This is my latest version with recommendations made from the comments made during last year’s moderation of this NEA. This is a word document with guidelines for students on how to complete the EAPI and how to plan for this quite tricky piece of assessment. I have personally found it difficult to sometimes explain to students about the EAPI and the ‘big picture’ of what is expected so hence I have created this resource. I have included some ideas for students to think about for potential skills strength/weaknesses and summarised the task at hand. I have included the mark sheets at the end so that students can tick off when they think they have thought through each section. This is a resource that I would print off and hand to each student at the very start of introducing the EAPI. This is a 14 slide Powerpoint to guide students through the preparation of their oral presentation. It covers guidance through students’ strengths and weaknesses (skills, fitness and tactics) and through the action plan.

Updated booklet following the A Level OCR A level PE. I use this personally with my lessons. These booklets help to keep all classwork neat and well presented in order to aid revision. Past paper exam questions have been transfered into booklet to aid with tasks and homework. 28 pages in total from Pre-Industrial Britain up to hosting global events.

This is a 23 Slide PowerPoint covering the topic ‘Gambling in sport’ from the A level PE OCR 2016 Specification. I have updated orginal Powerpoint with more detailed sporting exams.

38 Slide PowerPoint with the textbook notes condensed into easy chunks to teach the ‘Drugs and Doping in sport’ section of the ‘Contemporary issues in physical activity and sport’ topic of the A level PE OCR 2016 Specification. I have left buyers to add in their own pictures or videos as everyone has their own examples that they like to use. Presentations covers: Blood doping, Examples of performance enhancing drugs, Legal supplements versus illegal drugs and doping in sport, Reasons why elite performers use illegal drugs and doping, Consequences and implications of drugs in sport and Strategies to stop the use of illegal drugs and doping in sport. I have now added information from the revision guide into the slides.

AS Acquiring Movement Skills worksheet on Feedback. Worksheet provides colour coded differentiated tasks for students to complete and a 10 mark homework question relating to feedback and a healthy active balanced lifestyle. Worksheet would work well alongside a Powerpoint or the OCR textbook.

I have provided a range of worksheets and presentations that I have created and used throughout the 2 years that I have been teaching this topic - NOTE- there is no State School Development work in this resource as I have produced a separate resource for this. There a real mix of items to use in this resource but in particular I think the Swimming, Athletics and Cricket case study presentations are good. Materials can be used to aid class room teaching or to give as revision to students.

PowerPoint covers: Effective Leadership, Emergent and prescribed leader, Leadership styles, Theories of leadership and Chelladurai's multi-dimensional model of sports leadership.

I have spent time condensing the GCSE PE Edexcel content into 2 pages, one for component 1 and another for component 2. I am going to get each student to stick them on to the covers of their exercise book. These sheets could also easily be used for purposes such as display boards or for students to be given as part of their revision programme. I have colour coded topics to help with memorization.
