Content Spanish speaking activities: • Find someone who • From memory: Translate into Spanish • Oral Ping Pong • Faster • Fluency Cards • Conversation: Communicative Drills Teachers can use these activities in different order, or pick and choose your favourites, based on your students’ needs. Starting with a Find someone who (that might need adapted to the school timetable), then an oral translation task in pairs to retrieve the vocabulary, then to gamify the classroom students play Oral Ping Pong, Faster and Fluency Cards that really brings the competition out, to end with a scaffolded conversation task. These activities are to be used after the students are very familiar with the vocabulary. I am following the Viva 1 Book, so if you use Viva for KS3 Spanish you might find the same vocabulary.
