• 1 Star sheet (Working Towards Expected Level): Be able to recognise the place value of 100s, 10s and 1s using base-10 as guidance.
• 2 Star sheet (Expected Level): Be able to recognise the place value of 1000s, 100s, 10s and 1s using place value counters as guidance.
• 3 Star sheet (Working at greater depth): Be able to recognise the place value of 10000s, 1000s, 100s, 10s and 1s using digits and place value grids as guidance.
