A KS1 history lesson which looks at travel and how it has changed time. This lesson teaches children how travel has changed through time and the implications of that. Prior to trains in Britain there were lots of settlements in Britain. The development of different modes of transport meant that hubs could be created and trade bloomed. Through the development of cars and planes people can now commute to different cities to work as well as even going abroad.
