This Self Reflection task is perfect for any lesson or topic. It helps students to rate their understanding on a topic before the lesson and after the lesson and also allows for teachers feedback. Afterwards students have space to write their own reflective account on their learning.
Allowing self-reflection helps understand how students think about their own learning. This gives you an insights into their learning processes, strategies, motivations, and goals. It also helps identify any misconceptions in their knowledge, so that you can adjust your teaching accordingly.

The Traitor's Classroom Game
Did you enjoy the TV series The Traitors? Why not play the game in classroom?
This is a great resource that is felxible and can be used for any topic or lesson. It also allows you to gauge student’s understanding of a topic or question (assessment), sparking intense debate, pushes them to dig deeper into their answers and critical analysis and discussions.
The class are divided into groups, each player picks a card (Faithful or Traitor) meaning there is secret traitor(s) within each group. You can then pose a question to the class and the traitors role is to subtly mislead their group by providing incorrect answers.
This resource has been cleverly designed and includes the rules themed presentation (to input your own questions) and traitor / faithful cards. (Cut the cards and fold in half- glue or laminate to hold together)

Calming Cards

Myself and my 2 friends/ teaching colleagues set up Mala Llama (after the Covid pandemic) to help to provide educational resources combined with coping strategies & meditation tips for early intervention.
Calming Cards support wellbeing and positive health providing coping strategies and meditation tips. Each card is linked to a key element that enables you to realise your abilities to help deal with some of the mind’s greatest obstacles.
The 30 cards in a pack can be used one-a-day or you may select a small selection to work with each day. Each affirmation on the front of the card is to be read out loud followed by the coping strategies and meditation tips on the reverse. When the user has put these into practice they may return to the original affirmation.

Technical Theatre Dictionary
In technical theatre we use a lot of specialist language. It will be important that we can all communicate clearly using the right language.
This dictionary is a beginners’ list of terminology and helps students to understand key terms and be able to refer to when they need help spelling key terminology or what a word means - helping them to write independently.
These are great to print for individually for students, support and scaffold for SEND students or to have a group/table resources to refer to.
