Learn to draw using the right side of your brain. Learning to draw an image upside down is a technique that beginner artists have been practising since art schools began. Learning to draw using the right side of your brain will not only help you to become a better artist but will also expand the way you see the world.
In this short video, I explain the left brain’s preference for language and symbols and its conflict with the right brain. I also explain how this time-honoured technique teaches you how to draw from a completely different perspective - from the perspective of the right side of the brain.
This video is the second in a series, and if you’ve not already watched it I would highly reccommend that you have a go at the first drawing exercise. The face/vase illusion: https://youtu.be/YqelgSF16A8
