Spanish Festivals PowerPoint - whole school
This 21 slide long powerpoint presentation includes maps, photos and videos of the 6 most important Spanish Festivals, in chronological order (Las Fallas, La Feria de Abril, San Isidro, San Fermin, Santiago, Semana Grande y La Merce). These particular fiestas have been chosen because they are very different from each and are celebrated in the main Spanish cities. The photos could be used as prompts to guess what the festival entails; the videos can be used to note down facts and information. This presentation can be watched in one long session (it would take at least 1 h to watch all the videos), or it could be used for 6 different lessons.
