Word lists and 100 word passages are used to develop mastery learning and ensure a generalizable skill is learnt rather than just particular focus words. This booklet focuses upon teaching students to sound out phonically regular words through word lists and 100 word passages. Booklet 1 in this series should be read, and resources in it used, prior to using this booklet. 118 pages.

Number 4 in The Reading Repairer series concentrates upon teaching students to decode words having the two sounds of C plus the two sounds of G. Word lists and 100 word passages assist to develop mastery learning and a generalizable skill rather than simply knowledge of only those words used in the program. 103 pages.

This booklet of activities provides beginning readers who are older, with repeated opportunities to learn to write short proper sentences and learn to read the first 40 dolch words. An animal picture commences each lesson and the questions asked enable a written short sentence response from learners. This is largely independent written work for these students - which is hard to find.

Real Reading Introductory levels are for older students who find it difficult to learn to read. This booklet provides written work that aims to teach students some Dolch sight words as well as how to write basic sentences. Much of this should enable each student to work independently.
