This activity is based on the topics of arts, history and politics, geography, food and drink, travel and tourism in some German-speaking countries. Three levels of differentiation with answer sheets! It is advised that learners should use an electronic device, e.g. computer, notebook or at least a mobile phone in order to research their answers. The countries included are Austria, Germany, Liechtenstein and Switzerland, with one question on Namibia. The two answer sheets differ only in that one is in English and the other is in German. AQA EDEXCEL This 7 page workbook takes students through different aspects of food preparation skills which they are required to demonstrate at GCSE, i.e. knife skills applied to fruit and vegetables as well as meat, fish and alternatives like tofu and halloumi, other preparation skills for fruit and vegetables including the prevention of browning, spoilage and food poisoning. This is an ideal resource for learners to complete in class or as revision, homework or cover work. Tasks include matching pictures to skills areas, applying thinking and knowledge, explaining applications of skills, discussing and explaining utensils and equipment and finally a research task. This game will enable learners to consolidate and revise important kitchen hygiene and safety rules, incl. game board and 35 cards. Land on a red square and pick up a red card to explain what went wrong and how to put it right. Land on green and pick up a green card to explain that rule to other players. Suitable for any movie, any subject + suggestions for use and differentiation; For copyright-reasons I cannot publish (for free or for a price) any work books which contain any names, pictures, even titles relating to any particular movies. Therefore I created this work book to include many of the tasks which I have given my students over the years. The majority of films I have shown throughout my career have been in the French or German language. Therefore, I am including a French and a German version as well as an English version of this work book. Feel free to switch and swap the tasks as you may like to offer your students a mixture of English and either French or German depending on your subject and on their level of language. Pages can stand alone as individual work sheets as long as you remove the numbers from the tasks. All of the tasks assume that you, as the teacher, have watched the movie prior to showing it to and discussing it with your students. Please bear in mind that since this is merely a generic work book, you will need to complete several of the sections in order to direct the tasks at your chosen movie.
