Easy for you to adapt to your own establishment, this web guide contains a multitude of areas which no doubt apply to most schools. On 15 pages of information about school life, the guide will explain the ins-and outs of your school to both parents and new students. Each topic listed at the start is hyperlinked to its own section in the document. A topic mentioned in another section is also hyperlinked to its own section for more information. At the end of each section there is a link to go back to the top. School names are referred to as — School, so this can be replaced using the ‘replace’ function in Word. This document is intended for upload to your school website once it has been adapted to your school. For obvious reasons, I am including the Word version of this document. Get your learners talking about kitchen utensils and equipment. Learners are encouraged to name the many illustrated items, describe their use and discuss what skills they will apply when using them. The presentation contains 10 slides and starts by showing all items used in the games. Further slides concentrate on a few skills at a time before bringing all items together again at the end. There is a reminder to ‘think safety’ on each slide. It is left to the teacher to decide how to exploit the slides which are kept simple. A vocabulary list contains the terminology for the items in the pictures. This can be used to differentiate for weaker students. The board game and cards are available in A4 or A3 format. 42 flags to decorate your classroom, corridor or other areas at Halloween. Each flag features a different Halloween-related word with a matching illustration. The file is in .pdf format taken from a Publisher file. Each page features 3 bunting triangles to print and cut out. There is no particular order in which to hang this bunting, indeed you may like to mix up the backgrounds a bit. Print on card or on paper and laminate the print-outs prior to cutting in order to strengthen them. If like me you like a no-fuss assembly, punch each triangle at the top with a 2-hole punch, pull a string/ribbon through the holes front to back and to the front again. A piece of sticky tape at the back will stop each triangle from moving along the string/ribbon. Please kindly respect the time it took me to construct the enclosed sheets.
