SOS Titanic Comprehension [Chapter 4]
Created for a Year Five year class. A set of comprehension questions based on Chapter 4 of SOS Titanic by Eve Bunting. There are a range of different questions which asks children to retrieve and answer a range of questions based on this text. There is a lower ability version which includes sentence starters/key information for support.

Adding Fractions Worksheets and PowerPoint
A set of three different ability worksheets in which children are challenged to add a series of different fractions. Questions include a mixture of questions in which the denominators are the same while others include mixed denominators. Included is a PowerPoint which can be used to introduce and reinforce the activities included within the worksheets. This lesson follows on from children converting improper and mixed fractions previously.

First PowerPoint introduces identifying numbers from word form into digits for three and four digit numbers. Who Was To Blame For The Titanic Disaster? [PowerPoint]
A PowerPoint which discusses who was to blame for the Titanic disaster which includes interactive hyperlinks in which you click on photos/pictures for reasons why people were blamed. Reasons are given for Captain Smith, Captain Lord, The Shipbuilders, Thomas Andrews, Frederick Fleet and Bruce Ismay. Children can then discuss and share their ideas on who they think should be blamed as part of a unit on arguments/ and persuasive writing.
