Welcome to the next installment of quick Science Cover for your classes!
These three exciting activity sheets focus cover all aspects of Secondary Science, with a sheet each for Biology, Chemistry and Physics!
There are 3 interactive worksheets which will take between 1-2 hours each to complete (each have 4 sides of A4 to work through!), with a range of activities from; in-built word searches with secret messages to find once complete, fill in the blanks, unscrambling the words, content questions, pair match up, drawing activities, physics mazes and cryptograms. This has been used with many of my classes, from top to bottom sets, Year 11 to Year 7, with my Year 11 students staying in during their breaktime as they were determined to finish them!
All content covered aims towards GCSE, and students can use their exercise books, textbooks, computers or IPads to complete the work that has been set. If there are any issues, or you need some extra assistance, please let me know and I will make any tweaks necessary!
This bundle gives you a head-start when planning for the new academic year! With an exciting 5 lesson scheme of work covering Atoms, Elements, Mixtures and Separations, an Introduction to Microscopes and Cells, as well as some engaging whole-lesson worksheets that can be used whenever!
These lessons can be used with your classes over and over again, and will provide that exciting start to the year to get both yourself and your classes motivated for September!
Can your students save the world? Or survive after being marooned on a desert island? With the knowledge and activities stored within this mini scheme of work, they will be able to!
This scheme is aimed at KS3 but can be used for KS4 as well, and follows many GCSE themes that students will need to know! There are 2 big scenarios for students to work out, and practical instructions for when they get investigative! I have used this for years with my current classes and it is always a big hit, teaching what can sometimes be seen as a tricky/dull concept!
This bundle contains 5 whole lesson presentations, all packed with lots of activities, graphics, important information and AFL opportunities. Alongside this there are 7 different activities, ranging from word searches to compound match ups, unscrambling tasks and planning sheets for students to join the United Nations/decide how they are going to get off their desert island using the apparatus available and the knowledge they have learned! Finally, there is also an interactive end of scheme assessment which reviews all the students learning in a fun and comprehensive way! There is plenty of opportunity for personalisation also, for you to use your students names and the name of your school :)
Any issues? Please let me know and I will make any tweaks necessary!
This is a bundle of two engaging lessons containing various activities, to help teach students the concept of Atoms, Elements, Compounds and the Periodic Table. There is also a Periodic Table puzzle activity that students can complete as a lesson task or homework.
It introduces real-world examples of when mixtures and the periodic table can go wrong, and has video links to keep your students interested and wanting to find out more! Also if there are any tweaks or support once you have purchased this resource, I am on-hand to help out :)
A fun and exciting starter or plenary, introduces a bit of challenge to the students. You can even blow these up onto A3 and get students to work together in pairs or table teams! Enjoy :)
