Pupils are shown how to describe Horizonal, Vertical and some basic Diagonal lines (such as x = 1, y = -2, y = x etc...) Single lesson on Prime Decomposition, including worksheet with some different types of pattern to spot, such as powers of decomposed square numbers. Also a simplified explanation of how banks use Prime numbers. There is a link in the plenary that shows (at least for my classroom PC!) that computers find it hard to break down even numbers with 8+ digits, never mind 200!) Three lessons on showing pupils some methods of doing 2 digit multiplications mentally (such as using the difference of 2 squares). I've not gone into the Vedic method here although it could be a good 4th lesson to show them how to multiply any two 2-digit numbers.
