Periodic Table Halogens Fact Fan
The Halogens Fact Fan provides students with a fun way to research and present information on each of the halogens in the Periodic Table.
Also comes with a bonus halogens word search.
Research topics include:
Phase at STP
Boiling point
Melting point
Discovery
Uses
The set comes with both colour and black and white [which students can colour in] sets. Print onto A4 paper or for a more durable set light weight card.
Students complete the research, cut out each fact fan and then hole punch them and fasten the set with a brad fastener or split pin.
Great as a starter, review activity and can also be used as a revision resource.

Genetics Task Cards
A set of 24 task cards designed for students to independently or in groups to review and consolidate introductory genetics. The cards include questions on the structure of DNA, complimentary base pairs, haploid and diploid numbers, phenotypes and genotypes as well as dominant and recessive characteristics.
Included in this kit:
- 24 task cards.
- Student solution sheet on which to record answers.
- Teacher answer key.
There are 4 cards on each sheet [6 sheets in total]. They can be printed in greyscale or color [single or double sided]. Save paper and time by laminating the cards and keeping them as class sets. How to Play:
Provide each student with a bingo sheet. Laminate a class set of the bingo sheets if you wish.
Have students circle a set number of words with an erasable white board marker or similar. You can circle more or less words depending on time.
Read out the clues provided and have students place a cross through the circled word.
The first student to get all of the clues raises their hand or shouts “bingo” or both!
