This is the eighteenth lesson in the second theme of the new WJEC/ Eduqas 2016 specification for geography. This lesson looks at Cardiff as a global city. As Cardiff is a fairly local example, the information on the slides is just what the students need to know for the exam. The lesson like the others also contains exam practise. There is an attached assessed homework which can be started in the lesson and finished off as homework. The mark scheme is also attached. The following revision guide covers everything that pupils would need to know for the theme 3 topic. In this revision guide, it gives exam tips, definitions that they may need to know, chapter review questions to test pupils understanding of the chapter and attached at the back of the booklet is past exam questions on the unit. This booklet, however, doesn't cover any case studies as I know personally different schools cover different things.

This lesson is the first lesson that I taught for the river's section of Theme 1 of the new WJEC Geography GCSE course.
