I am an experienced English teacher of both Literature and Language, and also Classical Studies at High School level. You will find text-based resources for novels, poetry, plays and film study in my shop for Years 7 - 13. The resources are generic to the text so are suitable for any curriculum. I am also a passionate believer in effective literacy learning hence the emphasis on phonics resources in my shop.

Confusing words match up activity where students have to match the word with the correct ‘picture’ interpretation of the word. It presents an additional activity to matching homophones. Students have to decide which picture matches each word, focusing on the meaning of the homophones in order to connect the word to the picture.
