Exam Style paper 1 for A-Level Business AQA. Includes guided mark scheme.
The duration of the exam is 2 hours and consists of 4 sections with 25 questions making up the 100 marks available.
Section A includes 15 multiple choice questions which are designed to test students on a range of topics across the specification. (15 marks)
Section B consists of 3 short answer questions about financial accounts from a business. (8 marks)
Section C and D both include 2 25 mark questions for students to choose from (25 marks per section)
The essay questions worth 25 marks. Marks are awarded for the depth of knowledge, relevance of content, quality of argument, and critical evaluation.
Also included is a full guided mark scheme so that level of response can be determined and a correct mark can be awarded. Guided mark schemes are useful for students as they can identify what is needed for a top mark answer and where they can improve to achieve a high grade.
Indicative content is included in the mark scheme to provide guidance as to what students should be mentioning in a response (note: Indicative content is just guidance and all relevant content should be accepted)
This paper tests students on all areas of the AQA specification so that they have completed the best preparation before the final A-Level paper 1 exam in the summer.
