The worksheets show multiplication as sets using the words lots of and the times X symbol. My ideas for creating these worksheets were inspired by Mathematics Explained for Primary Teachers.
The teaching aids can be printed off and laminated. The worksheets on multiplication sums can be differentiated for the various abilities in class. An extension sheet for the more able can be adapted to suit particular needs. Children are given the opportunity to see how multiplication looks and can work them out for themselves.
This is a multiple-choice clip card activity relating to matching numbers and number words. There are two sets: one set in purple and the other in b/w with and without ten frames pictures next to the numbers.
If you are looking for resource to keep early finishers occupied and reinforce numbers and number words recognition then this resource is ideal.
