This resource is designed to help Year 5 and Year 6 students practise punctuating a fiction paragraph and comprises 3 sets of 2-way differentiated exercises.
Set A focuses on full stops and capital letters.
Set B focuses on full stops, capital letters, and commas.
Set C focuses on full stops, capital letters, commas, and exclamation marks.
In each set, there is one exercise for lower-ability students (which indicates the specific numbers of punctuation marks that are needed) and one exercise for higher ability students (which does not).
Complete Answers (i.e. the paragraphs with the missing punctuation in bold, red, underlined type) have been included for ease & speed of marking.
