El cine y la televisión. This is a Spanish translation resource pack on the topic of TV & cinema with answers and will help pupils prepare for the translation part of the exam. There are 40 sentences in total, 20 different sentences to translate into each language, which recycle key TV & cinema vocabulary, complex and idiomatic structures and specific grammar points. There are lots of useful phrases to help with describing the photo itself, as well as lots of complex language and Grade 8 constructions for pupils to include. There is a speaking mat for revision and a support sheets with: phrases to introduce a photo, past tense expressions, weather phrases, using the gerund, complex constructions to include, useful connectives, opinion phrases etc. My own pupils have found this very useful and it provides an excellent scaffold for them producing high quality work.
