For learners to identify the different types of text that they can come across, each type of text has questions on the bottom for learners to answer. This resource also enables learners to identify the key features of text that shows what type of text they are including headlines, links, as well as the language that can be used. This worksheet can be used to challenge higher level learners as you are able to add additional questions to these, getting them to highlight parts of the text and use the correct terminology for these so if there are any lists of three etc. Really effective worksheet!

A fun and interactive lesson to do with all age groups. The Presentation includes all the verbs to do the bingo game with, the bingo game allows learners to see the verb and to work out the simple past, simple present and simple future tense and cross these out when they find them. The worksheet includes 2 different worksheets, 1 for lower level learners where the past, present and future tenses are easy to recognise and to complete, whereas the 2nd one is for higher level learners who need to change the spelling of the word in order to gain the past, present or future tense of the verb.

Brief introduction prior to delving into each area. After the presentation is complete get the learners to complete the handout at the end of the session to see how much they have retained, or use it as a starter for the next lesson.
