I am a science teacher passionate about teaching Earth Science, Geology, Geography and Oceanography and sharing my science material/products to a wider audience.
My main focus is middle and high school, but since ability levels and needs vary widely, materials found in my shop may be useful to students from other grade levels.
I am also selling my educational resources on TpT website but under a different name, so in case you see the same resources there, it doesn't mean that they were copied.

Virtual Field Trip & Scavenger Hunt (GOOGLE EXPEDITIONS): American Landmarks.
Virtual field trips are an amazing tool to use to take students on fun learning experiences from the comfort of your classroom (or living room during distance learning!).
This virtual field trip is about AMERICAN LANDMARKS, where the students will have the opportunity to explore 9 different landmarks in America. First they will visit Independence Hall, the Washington Monument and the Lincoln Monument. Then they will visit Mount Rushmore, the Alamo, the Gateway Arch and the Grand Canyon. Finally, they will go and learn more about the Statue of Liberty and the Golden Gate Bridge
As the students go through the virtual field trip, they will be asked to complete an accompanying* scavenger hunt* by answering open-ended questions about the different places they are exploring.
What’s Needed:
All you need is a set of mobile devices for the students and a device for yourself (the guide/teacher) that all have the free “Google Expeditions App” before downloading your expedition. To make the activity a truly immersive VR experience, you will also need VR headsets for the students (NOT included in this resource), but it is STILL possible to participate in the virtual field trips without a VR headset.
When I use this in my classroom as a whole class activity, the students usually work in groups of three, so I use about 10 viewers. However, you can also use it as a part of a station rotation activity, so you would only need a couple of viewers.
What’s Included:
-Instructions on how to download and use the Google Expedition App for the virtual field trip
-Instructions on how to how to use the Google Expedition App with and without a “guide”
-Link to nine 360-degrees virtual field trips of American Landmarks
-PDF version of the scavenger hunt
-Editable Word version of the scavenger hunt to meet the needs of your students and to be able to customize their learning experience.
-Editable Google Document of the scavenger hunt (which can be used/assigned in Google Classrooms™)
-Editable Google Form of the scavenger hunt (which can be used/assigned in Google Classrooms™)
-Answer key to the scavenger hunt
-Extension ideas

Tarsia Puzzle: EUROPEAN COUNTRIES AND FLAGS (2 Puzzles)
In this activity, students will practice matching all 45 European countries with their flags, as they piece together the pieces of each tarsia puzzle. Students will match their answers with a separate puzzle piece until all the countries have ‘found’ their flag and the puzzle is completed.
These GEOGRAPHY TARSIA PUZZLES are a FUN way for students to practice their multiplication facts that doesn’t involve a worksheet. The puzzle activity works well for individuals, as well as small groups. Alternatively, you can set up stations around the room, and have students or groups rotate to each station for a new math puzzle/game.
This resource includes:
2 different tarsia puzzles; one with 21 countries and the another one with 24 countries
2 answer keys
Teacher directions
List of Countries Included:
Albania, Andorra, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Kosovo, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine, and United Kingdom.
Suggestions for using this resource:
Print multiple copies of each tarsia puzzle and place the pieces in separate plastic bags for safekeeping.
Print the puzzles on colored paper if you find the black and white version too “dull”.
Print the puzzles on large sized paper, if you want the pieces to be extra large.
Laminate the puzzle pieces BEFORE your students cut them out. It will allow you to use them for years to come.
Code the backside of each puzzle piece, so it is easier to find which plastic bag they belong to in case they get mixed up with other pieces.
