I am a science teacher passionate about teaching Earth Science, Geology, Geography and Oceanography and sharing my science material/products to a wider audience. My main focus is middle and high school, but since ability levels and needs vary widely, materials found in my shop may be useful to students from other grade levels. I am also selling my educational resources on TpT website but under a different name, so in case you see the same resources there, it doesn't mean that they were copied.

Tarsia Math Puzzle: ROUNDING TO NEAREST 10, 100, 1000 In this activity, students will practice rounding numbers to nearest 10, 100 and 1000, as they piece together the pieces of each tarsia puzzle (5 DIFFERENT PUZZLES INCLUDED). Students will match their answers with a separate puzzle piece until all the math problems have been solved and the puzzle is completed. These** MATH TARSIA PUZZLES** are a FUN way for students to practice their multiplication facts that doesn’t involve a worksheet. The puzzle activity works well for individuals, as well as small groups. Alternatively, you can set up stations around the room, and have students or groups rotate to each station for a new math puzzle/game. This resource includes: -5 differentiated tarsia puzzles with a different puzzle shape for each -5 answer keys -Teacher directions* Suggestions for using this resource: -Print multiple copies of each tarsia puzzle and place the pieces in separate plastic bags for safekeeping. -Print the puzzles on colored paper if you find the black and white version too “dull”. -Print the puzzles on A3 sized paper if you want the pieces extra large. -Laminate the puzzle pieces BEFORE your students cut them out. It will allow you to use them for years to come. -Code the backside of each puzzle piece, so it is easier to find which plastic bag they belong to in case they get mixed up with other pieces.* Check out our other Math Tarsia Puzzles! -Math Tarsia Puzzle: MULTIPLICATION FACTS 2 to 5 -Math Tarsia Puzzle: MULTIPLICATION FACTS 6 to 9 -Math Tarsia Puzzle: MULTIPLICATION FACTS 5 and 10 -Math Tarsia Puzzle: ADDITION WITHIN 10 -Math Tarsia Puzzle: ADDING 2-DIGIT NUMBERS (NO REGROUPING) -Math Tarsia Puzzle: ADDING WHOLE TENS (2-DIGITS) -Math Tarsia Puzzle: SUBTRACTION (SINGLE DIGIT) -Math Tarsia Puzzle: SUBTRACTING WHOLE TENS FROM 2-DIGIT NUMBERS -Math Tarsia Puzzle: SUBTRACTING 2-DIGIT NUMBERS (NO REGROUPING) Be sure to follow my TES shop and don’t forget to leave feedback if you liked my product! Bill Nye the Science Guy: COMMUNICATION (Season 2, Episode 16). This video worksheet includes a combination of fill-in-the blank, true/false, and/or short answer questions. Students fill in the video worksheet while watching Bill Nye the Science Guy. Watching a video is no longer a passive activity!! Students are engaged during the video as they must listen and write at the same time. This video worksheet about COMMUNICATION has 16 questions. The video questions are relatively easy to answer while watching the video and are not so complicated that they require a great deal of writing. An ANSWER KEY is included with this product. The worksheet is printable, and NO prep is required. I have also included a QR code link to the video. This means that students can do the worksheet on their own even if they are absent. The video worksheet is perfect for sub plans. Visit my TES shop for more Bill Nye video worksheets and/or other movie guides. Please don’t forget to leave feedback! Happy Teaching!
