Either tell them their hourly wage (for each job) OR get them to research the hourly wage for their chosen jobs. Now get them to complete the template provided by calculating the daily, weekly, monthly and annual salary. Once calculated, tell them that the government takes away a BIG chunk, as does the NHS … then you’ve got other BILLS to pay! Just watch their faces drop … definitely a wake up call and an introduction to adult working life! .
