(0)
If you are moving to remote learning via Google Classroom and are wanting to do check ins with your students to check on their well-being, then these Google Forms are an effective way of doing this. This set contains 4 different attractive Google forms for you to use with your students. Simply post them on Google Classroom to get a check in and take attendance at the same time! The forms included are: • Morning Meeting Google Form Check In: check on your students’ well-being and how they are feeling, and give them an opportunity to share important information with you and have that 1:1 attention if they need it. • Afternoon Meeting Google Form Check In: check on your students’ well-being and progress on the day. You can compare how they’re feeling from the morning, discover what they have learned and enjoyed, and what they’ve found challenging so you can cater to their needs in the future. • Initial Remote Learning Google Form Check In: Gain an understanding on your student’s learning environment at home. In your classroom you can control the learning environment, but once it comes to remote learning that is out of your hands. Learn what kind of device, internet access and study space they have as well as what their initial concerns are. • Interim Remote Learning Google Form Check In: As remote learning is a new playing field for many of us, it’s important to regularly check in on your students to see how they are finding the experience. With this form you will learn what they are finding valuable and gain an insight into what might help improve their remote learning experience in the future. You can still be the caring teacher you love being, even without being able to see your students face to face with these well-being check in forms for remote learning.

UCAS / Job Reference Writing Guide

If you are a form tutor or are required to write a reference for your students, then this resource will really help you out! This should help make the process of writing UCAS / Job references for your students much easier for you, whilst giving your students the opportunity to take ownership of their reference. This is especially helpful if you are a new tutor and haven’t had the opportunity to learn much about your students yet, as they will tell you everything you need to know with this resource! Oftentimes, students can be very modest with their achievements and abilities and so this resource will really help to tease out their best qualities enabling you to simply lift content from their notes into your own reference. This is a 2 page resource which could be printed double sided. One side is for students to fill out and the other is a guide with some examples to help direct them and ensure they consider all their achievements and qualities. I hope this saves you lots of time and makes the reference writing process much smoother and more efficient!

Distance Learning Parent Feedback Check In Google Forms

(0)
If you are now exploring the new world of distance learning, chances are you, your students and their parents are all in a bit of a panic right now as everything is so new! At least you can have communication with your students via tools such as Google Classroom, but how are parents and guardians coping with this new home schooling life? You can control the environment in your own classroom, but you cannot control their study space or environment at home, so this is where you need some parental feedback. Now the tables have turned, so it is important to reach out to parents and find out how they’re getting on and what they’re seeing at their end. You can’t see your students right now so it’s harder for you to gauge how they’re doing. Getting parental feedback is paramount to everyone’s success. These Google forms will gain you valuable insight into a range of areas. The forms included are: • Initial Parental Information: gain an overview of what environment their child has for studying at home: in particular what kind of devices, internet access, and study space they have access to. • Schedule Parental Information: gain an overall insight into how much support the parents are realistically able to offer at home, judgment free, and how much digital time they would prefer / are able to offer their child every day. • Interim Parental Feedback: Find out how parents are coping with home schooling and how they feel their children are really doing. Get valuable feedback on specific lessons / activities / topics that are going well, and which are more challenging. With this form you will learn what is working best and gain an insight into what might help their distance learning experiences in the future.
