This lesson is aimed at OCR A 9-1 GCSE Geography or equivalent specification. The lesson is focused upon Paper 1 and the module of UK Environmental Challenges. This lesson focuses upon the use of nuclear power to generate electricity in the UK. The process of nuclear fission is looked at as well as +/- of using nuclear and in addition the location of power plants. An exam question is included with links to a non-UK event in 1986.
