This unit bundle includes 7 lessons on the Battle of Hastings and the development of castles. Lessons are differentiated/scaffolded (orange = low ability, green = middle ability, purple = high ability) and include formative assessment tasks (‘purple book’ tasks). Lessons also include recall homeworks as forms quizzes.
The unit also includes a scheme of work and knowledge book to accompany. Knowledge book includes key content notes and resources, as well as challenge questions at the end of each topic.
