Black History Month - Computing Display

A display showing twenty prominent people of colour who have an involvement in the history of computing. A great resource for Black History Month. It’s particularly important to me that this resource has a high number of women, encouraging the visibility of both women and people of colour.

A good resource to engage students who like football.

Number Stories in Excel

A resource that uses Excel Spreadsheets with embedded PowerPoints to allow students to explore ‘number stories’ based on two simple number sequences. One looks at the Fibonnaci sequence and uses Excel to calculate the sequence and create a pie chart that reflects a Fibonnaci spiral. The other looks at the ‘One Grain of Rice’ story and uses Excel to calculate the number of rice grains, bowls, etc.
