I am educator that enjoys thrives in a diverse environment. The focus of my work is to build a classroom environment where students feel supported and empowered. The different identities and abilities of students enrich my classroom and guide me to enrich my practice. I work towards a balance of teaching content and transferable skills in my lessons with discussion, literacy skills and learning strategies being the focus. Outside of work I enjoy reading, learning the language of the country I am in, going to historical sites and museums, learning art and craft and reading diverse fiction.
