I teach sixth form maths students so most of my resources are aimed at A level maths. I have recently updated my resources to cover the new A level maths syllabus and I have produced PowerPoints that fully cover all of the new A level maths course. I also use a large a large amount of Notebook presentations because they are more flexible that PowerPoint. I have put a free resource on for you to try to show how the presentations work you can open it online using SMART Notebook Express website.

Jigsaw covers calculus, quadratics, coordinate geometry and many other first year A level topics. All 4 sheets can be cut up and then the learners can reassemble them to make a geometric shape.

This presentation introduces the students to hypothesis testing using normal distribution. It starts by explaining what a hypothesis test is, the key language used and also covers type 1 and type 2 errors. Also included is a presentation that shows students how to use Chi-squared test to find a goodness of fit. It covers all parts of chi-squared from a basic introduction to very clear examples, including using the standard results tables (don't forget to move them to show the answers underneath). It also goes on to contingency tables including Yates' correction. SMART Notebook Express presentations can be used for free by using SMART online or by downloading SMART software, also free, I use it because it allows a more interactive presentation than a powerpoint. It also covers argand diagrams and uses these to lead on to polar form. Finally it looks at complex number using exponential form and how they are used to multiply and divide complex numbers. Powerpoint comes complete with questions and answers at each of the different stages.
