A full lessons PowerPoint on Vacuum Forming - Pupils create a Chocolate bar design. The Powerpoint talks about the steps involved in vacuum forming.
This can be taken further with practical lessons, where pupils create their moulds from a range of materials, I’ve previously used clay, acrylic, 3D printers, lego or wood. I have purchased a roll of food safe vacuum form plastic for £60, which has lasted me for 200 pupils so far. The moulds can also be reused.
