Mary Anning Stone Girl Bone Girl: Cut, sequence, colour + write about the story

(0)
Resource for KS1 and Kindergarten. Based on the story of Mary Anning: Stone Girl Bone Girl. Hand drawn pictures for the children to cut out, sequence, write about and colour in. To differentiate: Support could cut out and sequence the pictures - I have included the answers at the end which could be given to children who need support so they can match the caption to the picture instead of writing. Core children can sequence and use the word bank to also write about the pictures More able children can sequence and write independently with given challenges such as ‘Include at least 3 time adverbials’ Sequencing activities usually take a few sessions. Cut, order and stick the activities. Writing captions for the first half of the images Writing for the second half of the activities I usually ask the children to colour after they have met the objectives for that session and finish colouring in at the end. Black and white. No colour ink needed!
